When Dickies bought three ad spaces in Women's Wear Daily, they challenged us to play within the realm of high fashion while still staying true to their roots as a workwear brand. Our stylistic solve could be described as LIFE magazine meets Vogue--part candid period piece, part art fashion photography.

To demonstrate Dickies' enduring popularity over the last 100 years, we dressed a diner as three different eras. Additionally, we used the same group of six models for each shot, outfitting them in both vintage and modern Dickies.
